It was a full house for a special night, as King Trivia, your humble Quizmaster, and the Tam O'Shanter celebrated nine full years of trivia fun at this location. Festive was the event, made more so by the scrumptious blonde brownies provided by Mrs. Miller to thank her son's regulars. Thanks as well to Robin of team Argentum, who brought some delicious keto-friendly sea salt and fudge cookies. Though the game was surrounded by sweetness, only the victors receive their just desserts, and so it was this night with the General Washingtons showing their superior knowledge of American history in order to claim the Drinking Round. Lewis and Clark would be proud of the Generals' perfect familiarity with the territory of the Louisiana Purchase. And despite the final scores being close, The Mules began, stayed, and ended the game at the top of the pile, earning them victory on a night that pitted them against difficult competition while answering difficult questions.

Well done to those teams, and to all of us for being a part of nine great years of fun!

Aggressive Foreplay found themselves at the top of the heap in the Drinking Round, easily naming more SNL hosts from the current season than any other team could. In the main game, Aye Dae Ken earned third place on their first night back post-baby, with Aggressive Foreplay taking second place and Flux Capacitors winning it all thanks to a 12-point lead.

Once more, as in years before, your humble Quizmaster created a fake Coachella poster for the night's Drinking Round. Composed of 50% musical acts that actually appeared at this year's Coachella, and 50% fictitious acts, this challenge proves to be a popular springtime stumper year after year. And for the third year in a row, The Mules blew away the competition and claimed their deserved drinks. Meanwhile, a birthday visit from Tapioca Pudding proved to be an auspicious occasion indeed as they managed to take first place overall thanks to the combined knowledge held in their two noggins.
