QUIZ RECAP

It was a real honor and pleasure to sub at the usual place where I play each week (go Flux Capacitors) hehe. Usually I use Pandora and keep it on a station but this night I had to step it up Michael Miller style and procure a playlist. It takes more time, certainly, but the response was good. Folks complimented the music I played. I tried to pick songs that fit the theme of a round or at least fit with one of the questions. One of my buddies from The General Washingtons said "it was fun!" Afterward I had a very elated feeling that I was perchance a worthy substitute for the best host around, Mr. Michael Miller.

Victory on two fronts tonight for Aggressive Foreplay -- they triumphed in the Drinking Round due to their Motown knowledge, and bested the Flux Capacitors in a tie breaker question at the very end!

On a packed night back at the Tam following a break to honor both Robbie Burns and haggis, play was exciting from end to end, with tight scores and two ties. The first tie came in the Drinking Round, where Aggressive Foreplay and General Washingtons knew an equal number of manned spacecraft; the Generals' superior guess as to the distance at which the ISS orbits the Earth won them the drinks.

Further proof of the General Washingtons' powers came when they bested the Flux Capacitors in a tie breaker question to decide second place. Meanwhile, Aggressive Foreplay completed the game with a one point victory.
