Wednesday nights without Brouwerij West in my life? No thanks. So very glad to be back this week, and what a round we had! Big leaps, tough setbacks, and the indomitable spirit of stalwart teams. Round 3 saw six unsuccessful double attempts. Round 5 saw nine successful doubles. It was a ball.

In the end, Wakanda Forever rose triumphant to the top spot with 81 entire points. They were followed right behind by Smarty Pints (tiebreaker winner!) and Counter Intelligence with 79 points each. In fact, the top five teams were all within 5 points of each other. Well done, teams!

Also, Wakanda Forever promised to come in costume next week. Okay, "promised" may be too strong a word. I just hoped that by putting it out there, it might come true. A Quizmaster can dream.

Whew! A whole lot of doubling going on! The last two rounds had 14 successful doubles! With a name like Double That Shit! you know they just had to come out on top! Great advice to Always Bet on Black. They pulled off second and The Test Tickles took third. Good beer and good fun at Brouwerij West.

A hard fought night of trivia. The Test Tickles took an early lead and were victorious. That's a Tasty Burger and Teacher's out on a School Night were neck and neck with That's a Tasty Burger eeking out the second place finish. It isn't hard to tell why the crowd is so many and happy with all the delicious beers from the folks at Brouwerij West.
