QUIZ RECAP

Another intimate King Trivia show at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! 7 teams battled it out for our 1st and 2nd place prizes. 

For the Drinking Round, each team had a few minutes to make a paper airplane. Then whoever's plane flew the longest would win the Drinking Round. With the furthest flying plane, Fact to the Future won the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team. 

They also came in Second place scoring 36 points just beating the Roadies by one point. They won the $10 gift certificate. Way to go!

And coming in first were The Headscratchers! They were on top from the first round successful Double or Nothing, straight through the rest of the game! They scored 46 points and took home the $20 gift certificate. Awesome job!

QUIZ RECAP

Happy King Trivia Wednesday! This week we had a more intimate group of quizzers ready to answer questions ranging from Explorers to Beer and Whiskey, and from video games and musicals to LGBTQ+ activists! It was all around a great time. 

For the Drinking Round, teams went head to head to be the first to identify the name of a song and the artist that sang that song, in a game called "You are the Shazaam!" One by one teams were eliminated until there were just three teams left, Fact to the Future, Sluts From the 90s, and A-Team. The song was AC/DCs, Shook Me All Night Long. Fact to the Future buzzed in first and guessed the right band, but not the correct song. A-Team buzzed in next and got the correct band and song, and won the round of shots for his team! Way to go! What a fun round!

Coming in 2nd place and taking home the $10 gift certificate was team Hanky Panky! They usually round out the top teams and this week was no different! Congrats you two!

And in 1st place and redeeming themselves from the Drinking Round, was Fact to the Future! They scored 56 points beating out Hanky Panky by one point! That was close! They took home the $20 gift certificate for their team! Amazing!

QUIZ RECAP

We had another good time for King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub on Wednesday night! 11 teams gathered to test their knowledge and compete for some gift certificates and a round of shots!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to send a member up to compete in a chugging contest where they had to chug a pint of beer the fastest, but they had to do it through a straw! As you can see from the video Headscratchers won the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team. It was the second week in a row that they won the Drinking Round, AND the second week in a row that they ended up winning 3rd place and taking home a $10 gift certificate for their team! They scored 47 points, just one point above the next-placed team to take the prize! Way to go!

Coming in second place, taking home the $20 gift certificate, and scoring 54 points, was team Hanky Panky! They usually are somewhere in the mix of the top 3 teams and this week was no exception. Good job team!

And last but not least, establishing themselves as another powerhouse team, team Fact to the Future took home our 1st place prize of the evening. They scored 58 points to take the top spot and take home the $30 gift certificate for their team! Awesome!
