QUIZ RECAP

Tonight was full of surprises all around. From a guest quiz master to some amazing delicious bangers and mash. The Pickwick is definitely the place to be when mixing delicious food and trivia. I had a blast meeting new people and entertaining the crowd as best I could but I could only do so much before the competitiveness took over. The rounds were difficult but with combined IQs of the table each team would be arms length from 1st place. We are also fortunate enough to celebrate a birthday! What a wonderful night for trivia

QUIZ RECAP

Well, Wednesday night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills was another fun night for King Trivia!

We had a triumphant return of one of our pre-pandemic teams that would dominate almost every time they played. That's right, Mighty Mighty Puffins are back, well, sort of. Only one member of the Mighty Mighty Puffins was there, but he dominated the game by winning 1st place for the night, and he won the Drinking Round! He dominated in three head to head matchups of Rock, Paper, Scissors, and then went on to score 53 points! It's official, the Mighty Mighty Puffins are back!

Coming in second place was another of our dominant teams, Hanky Panky! They scored 41 points which was good enough to take home the $20 gift certificate!

QUIZ RECAP

We had another grand night of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! Danny the host provided a bonus prize of a trucker hat featured in the new Thor: Love and Thunder movie that comes out tomorrow!

For the Drinking Round, Danny played 10 mashup songs by DJ Cummerbund which each had two songs mashed together to make a new song, and teams had to guess the name of the artists who sang the two songs featured in the mashups. Team Wonderkidz won the Drinking Round and a round of shots for getting 16 out of the 20 artists correct! Amazing job!

Coming in Third Place and winning the extra prize of the Thor Trucker hat was team Headscratchers! They scored 47 points! They have been trying to claw their way back into the top 3 for a few weeks now and they got to win the cool hat! Way to go Headscratchers!

Coming in 2nd and scoring 50 points was team Free Britney, the Other One Now! They took home a $20 gift certificate! Excellent!

And our resident King Trivia pros, Hanky Panky, once again took the first place prize, a $30 gift certificate, this week scoring 61 points to start off their League Play! Great job you guys!
