QUIZ RECAP

While you were busy giving your pet salamander a bath, a bunch of trivia enthusiasts gathered at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night for King Trivia! Can't believe you missed out! But here's a recap of you did miss it!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to send one player up to compete in a timed game. Quizmaster Danny had set up a two tables set about ten feet apart from each other, and one table had 4 empty soda cans on it with the trans stocking straight up. One at a time, each player had to take a piece of uncooked spaghetti in their mouth and on go, had to transfer one can at a time from one table to another standing them up on the other table and removing the spaghetti from the can tab. The first person to transfer all four cans the fastest and remove the spaghetti from the tab, would be the winner of the Drinking Round and the round of shots! Able to do it in 31.67 seconds was team She Sells Sea Shells and She's a Whore, who was playing by himself, so the bar was happy they only had to give out one free shot lololol! Congrats She Sells!

Coming in 3rd place was team Bristol Fashion who scored 52 points and even kept their third place spot after scoring 0 points in the final round! Luckily no other teams were able to get at most two of the answers correct in the final round! Brussel Fashion took home the $10 good certificate! Woop woop!

Coming in Second Place and scoring 55 points after also getting zero points in the final round, was team Hanky Panky! They took home the $20 gift certificate! Awesome job as always HP!

And coming in 1st place, able to get two of the possible 11 correct answers in Round 7, which secured them the lead were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! They can't be stopped!

QUIZ RECAP

Another Wednesday night has come and gone, and with it, another King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills. If you weren't there, you missed out on another night of fun!

This week for the Drinking Round, teams got a little sneak peak at King Trivia's newest game, and a new favorite of mine, Survey Slam! I've played it three times now and have been talking about the game at trivia, so it was neat to be able to give other teams a little snapshot at what the game is like. The Mighty Mighty Puffins, we found out are as good at Survey Slam as they are at King Trivia, because they scored more points than the other teams and won the round of shots for the Drinking Round!

They also took home the first place prize of a $20 gift certificate! They scored an outrageous 80 points, with the next closest team scoring 46 points! They killed it on Wednesday night taking home the Drinking Round prize and the 1st place prize! Awesome job as always Puffins!

Coming in Second Place was a newer team to Pickwick's King Trivia night, The Tree O' Knowledge and the Seed! They scored 46 points and took home a second place prize of a $10 gift certificate! Way to show up in one of your first time playing at Pickwick's Tree O'Knowledge! Looking forward to seeing you guys come back for more trivia!

QUIZ RECAP

A somber evening at trivia as we started out with a little remembrance of the events 18 years earlier. But we reflected and for their sacrifice we surmised that those who died on that tragic say would want us to continue on with our daily lives. That includes Wednesday nights at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia, so that's what we did.

For the Drinking Round, Quizmaster Danny brought back one of the classic Minute to Win It games. Each team had to send one player up to play. That player had to put a stocking around his/head. In one of the legs of the stocking was a baseball. Using only their head, on go, the player had to knock down 6 bottles of water with the baseball swinging back and forth in the stocking. Whoever did it the fastest would win the round of shots for their team. Hanky Panky was the fastest to do it at 27.10 seconds. Good job!

They also took home the 1st place prize of a $30 gift certificate! So they cleaned upiAmazing!

Coming in 2nd were Plain Tart! It was their first time playing trivia, but they loved it and are coming back to play some more King Trivia in the future! They scored 38 points.
