QUIZ RECAP

Another night of Wednesday night trivia at Pickwick's Pub has come and gone, and last night was packed! 10 teams competed for 3 prizes and a round of shots.

Coming in first place were the Renaissance Women who were at the top of the teams most of the night starting round one with a succesful double or nothing. They started to pull away from the other teams in Round 5 when they took over the lead, and never looked back. They won the night with 62 points.

In second place was My Boner who started off slow, but a succesful double or nothing in the final round gave them enough points with 59 to beat out all the other teams but one.

And in third place was Pogue Mahoney who were in second most of the night but we're just edged out by My Boner by one point in the final round.

For the Drinking Round, teams competed in a game called Face the Cookie, which is a Minute to Win It game where contestants had to be the fastest to move an Oreo cookie from their forehead to their mouth the fastest using only their face muscles and head movements. Taking the drinking round was Quiz in My Pants with a rapid fast 11.83 seconds!

QUIZ RECAP

Well, time for another recap for Wednesday's King Trivia game at Pickwick's Pub. Surprise surprise as the Mighty Mighty Puffins won the drinking round and took 1st place again. It's almost to the point that I may stop doing recaps because they win all the time! They had the lead from Round 1 with a successful double or nothing, lost the lead in round 2, but regained it again in Round 3 with another successful double and never looked back. In their dust all night long was the second place team, We Can Be a Jessica, who won 2nd with 56 points just edging out Douchie McFuckFace who took 3rd with 55 points. They battled it out all night long switching leads almost every round until We Can Be a Jessica took the lead in round 6 and didn't give it back. For the drinking round, teams had to send a player up to name a football team and a Broadway musical. The last ones standing were Mighty Mighty Puffins, proving they know lots of things! That wraps it up! See you next Wednesday for mas trivia!

Now this is a story all about how, two teams turned Pickwick's Pub upside down, and I'd like to take a minute, just sit right there, I'll tell you how Mighty Mighty Puffins, and The Peeps, became the Kings of Trivia, ya hear?

In West Woodland Hills born and raised, in a pub is a King Trivia show I've hosted most of my days, chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool and all shooting up questions like I'm teaching school. When a couple of teams who were right from the hood, started answering questions because they really could. They got more than one right, and the other teams got scared, I said, "You're scores are moving up like they're flying through the air!"

I signaled for the drinking round when it came near, the Quizmaster said, "Go!" And cups went flying here and there! If anything I could say that The Peeps were so rare, but I thought "Nah, forget it." "Yo, Peeps raise those shots in the air!"

The Peeps also rocked the house to 2nd place, and I yelled to the Puffins, "Yo homes, you're the winners!" I looked at the bar, and I was finally there, at the end of the game, now home to sit on my derriere!
