The thermometer may still be in the triple digits, but Fall is definitely in the air at The Back Door Bakery Cafe in Sunland/Tujunga, where the always delicious aroma of fresh baked deliciousness in augmented delightfully by a distinct scent of Pumpkins!
You may come for the trivia, but you'll definitely want to try the pumpkin croissants. They're wonderful! And will certainly put you in an autumnal mood as we endure these blistering final days of summer.

Duck Duck Goose Goose added a Gander this week at The Back Door Bakery Caf?, and they were that much better for it! But it wasn't even to overtake powerhouse team Hodge Podge, who took the night with a tremendous score of 76!

A lovely evening with a room full of friends at The Back Boor Bakery Cafe this week, as we engaged in another round of friendly trivia competition. Shaina Maidelas knocked frequent winner Hodge Podge down a few notches by taking the night. And The Saucy Savages rounded out the top three with a solid performance.
The Savages (photos 3, 4 & 5 above) seemed a little extra saucy this week, but not especially savage, to be honest. Perhaps a bit more savagery might propel them to the top of the heap. (or maybe more sauce? Difficult to say for sure.)
The Dog Buttlers (photo #2 above) garner a shout out here because they're terrific players and I like their team name. Gotta ask what a dog buttler is, though. Do they serve tea? I'll ask 'em, and report back next week with the explanation.
