The bakery was boppin' and the cafe was rockin' this week at The Back Door Bakery & Cafe in Sunland/Tujunga. (Why does Sunland always get top billing? Doesn't seem fair to Tujunga!)
As is often the case, Hodge Podge led the scoring with a strong 63 points, but due to our upside-down prize policy, The Lucky Lukes walked away with the top ($30) gift card after racking up 45 points to finish in third.

I know, I know. St. Patrick's Day has come and gone, and here I am offering up a leftover joke that may be past it's "Use By" date. But I didn't get to use it during the appropriate time, and besides, anytime is a good time for a bad pun, right? Right! (answer is at the bottom)
We had an especially good time at The Back Door Bakery and Cafe this week, as we had an opportunity to make new friends, even as we quizzed and quaffed with our beloved regulars.
The lovely ladies calling themselves Wednesday Winos comported themselves admirably, and though The Late Birds were indeed late, they nevertheless managed to score well. The Lone Gunman was as described, but is one-of-a-kind, so there you have it.

Sara celebrated her 19th birthday while Lorraine was AWOL, gallivanting the globe and Deborah ran her buns off during an outrageous session of trivia this week at The Backdoor Bakery Cafe in Sunland/Tujunga.
