QUIZ RECAP

In the first round, Free Smoke, Tequila Mockingbirds, the Oxymorons, Three Cool Boys and Bermuda Pineapple. 

Free Smoke, Itty Bitty Litty Committee, Tequila Mockingbirds, Three Cool Boys and Bermuda Pineapple all doubled Round 2. 

In Round 3, Free Smoke, There’s Always Next Week, the Oxymorons, Itty Bitty Litty Committee, Bermuda Pineapple, Tequila Mockingbirds, and Three Cool Boys all doubled. At this point there was a 4 way tie for first between Bermuda Pineapple, Tequila Mockingbirds, Free Smoke and Three Cool Boys. 

Round 4 changed things up a bit, leaving Free Smoke and Tequila Mockingbirds vying for the lead, followed closely by Bermuda Pineapple and Three Cool Boys. 

For the drinking round, I had people showcase their hidden talents. Tequila Mockingbirds did the alphabet backwards, Bermuda Pineapple names the 50 states in alphabetical order. Itty Bitty Litty Committee said the alphabet forwards while sounding like he was in the witness protection program. There’s Always Next Week had a teammember balk like a chicken and sound like a baby doll, while Three Cool Boys did magic. A teammember of We Try was double jointed and the Oxymorons drew a caricature of me. (See last pic). But the winner was Free Smoke, who chugged a full pint of beer in 3 seconds! 

Round 5 saw doubles by the Oxymorons, Tequila Mockingbirds, Itty Bitty Litty Committee, Free Smoke and There’s Always Next Week. Free Smoke and Tequila stayed tied for first place. 

Tequila Mockingbirds and Three Cool Boys doubled Round 6, propelling Tequila Mockingbirds into the lead. Free Smoke was still high up in 2nd place and Three Cool Boys finished the round in 3rd. 

In Round 7, Free Smoke, Oxymorons, We Try and Bermuda Pineapple doubled. Free Smoke ended up tied with Tequila Mockingbirds. 

But after an exhilarating tie breaker question, Tequila Mockingbirds came in first, followed by Free Smoke and then the Oxymorons.

Legit every team doubled Round 1! Been a while since that’s happened. 

In Round 2, Jarrett’s In Town doubled putting them in the lead. 

Tequila Mockingbirds, Free Smoke and Oxymorons doubled Round 3, but Jarrett’s In Town was still maintaining a lead. 

Three Cool Boys got Round for an impressive 10 points! The rest got it mostly on 6, We Try was on 8 points, however. 

The drinking Round was a game of chance - I picked a random person (non player) to guess a number between 1-100. They guessed 65. Tequila Mockingbirds won with the closest guess of 63!

Round 5 Childless Millennials and Nasty Women doubled, putting Nasty Women in the lead ahead of Jarrett’s in Town. 

In Round 6, Tequila Mockingbirds and Nasty Women both doubled, putting them ahead. 

But in Round 7, Free Smoke successfully doubled taking first. Nasty Women came in second and Jarrett’s in Town came in third. Tequila Mockingbirds lost their placement because of an unsuccessful double.

All teams but X Blades doubled in Round 1. 

Round 2 saw doubles by There’s Always Next Week and Tequila Mockingbirds who became tied for first. 

Tequila Mockingbirds was the only team to double Round 3, putting them solidly in the lead. 

Highest score in Round 4 “Guess What” was 6 points by the awesome-named Ted Lasso of Truth. 

For the drinking round, we played “Name That Tune - 50’s Edition”. It was down to Tequila Mockingbirds and Pineapple Thrill, and Tequila won. 

In Round 5, There’s Always Next Week Should have doubled. No one else did double. 

Pineapple Thrill, There’s Always Next Week, Go Blue all doubled Round 6, putting Pineapple Thrill and There’s Always Next Week up near Tequila Mockingbirds at the top. 

An unsuccessful double in Round 7 dropped Tequila Mockingbirds to 3rd place. While one-man team Pineapple Thrill took 2nd and There’s Always Next Week came in 1st.
