Trivia is BACK at The Hill!

We had a good showing on Tuesday night with many teams in attendance.

The High Tops and Salty Crew were vying for first place throughout the whole game. The High Tops were in the lead for the majority of the game, until, at the last second Salty Crew doubled round 7 for the win.

Campfires Make Us Hot was in 3rd place most of the game, until Tekila Buddies pulled ahead in the last round too.

Veronica and Louie won the drinking round which was to "come up with a celebrity alcohol pun" (example: Ale Pacino). Their winning pun was Quentin Tarantini.

QUIZ RECAP

Another exciting night at Pineapple Hill as the crowd grew, with returning even more returning teams. A couple, The Midwesterners, attempted to challenge the regulars, but ended up forfeiting after Round One.

Free Smoke took an early lead when they doubled the first round, leaving Kids Table 2.0 and Quiz Kid Donnie Smith, who tied the first round, fighting for second place. Round 3 was especially challenging and only Kids Table 2.0 had the right answer for the Guess Who? round. After a difficult 5th round it was time for a super easy Drinking Round game: Within 60 seconds, teams were asked to find the oldest coin (or bill) amongst their group. The Kids Table 2.0 brought up a nickel from the 1940s, beating Free Smoke's 1968 penny.

Free Smoke gained any even larger lead with the sports-themed 6th round handout, as they doubled again, resulting in a clear win.

QUIZ RECAP

The magnificent return of King Trivia to Pineapple Hill was cheered by a couple of our regular teams. Eager for the game to start Quizmaster Yael jumped into round one with excitement - for the game, as well as the new digital answer sheets. By the end of Round One, a couple of newbies who weren't prepared for trivia bowed out leaving Free Smoke and The Kids Table 2.0 to battle it out for the remainder of the game. They tied in the first round but Free Smoke pounced a few points ahead by round two, holding onto their lead through the rest of the game.

Things were looking up for The Kids Table 2.0 as they tied Round 7, but ultimately the prize was Free Smokes. A counting drinking round game was played after the winners were announced and The Kids Table 2.0 found themselves the recipients of a round of drinks!

Both teams were glad to be back and look forward to their rematch next Tuesday! The newbies who opted out of the game vowed to return.
