QUIZ RECAP

Now that things are back to normal again at Pineapple Hill, I was able to do my fun intro again where I list off the teams and they cheer for each other. I find it really amps up the excitement for the game!

In Round 1, a whopping 10 teams doubled successfully, all tied for first place.

Round 2 saw a little more division, with Curtis Granderson Experience, Oxymorons, and There's Always Next Week taking the lead by 1 point each.

In Round 3, Tequila Mockingbirds and BSFV All Stars were the only teams to double (though 7 teams should have doubled), putting them both tied for first place.

In Round 4, Oxymorons and Ovaltine Jenkins were the only 2 teams to get it on the 10 point clue.

In Round 5, successful doubles went to The Kid's Table, Tequila Mockingbirds, Ovaltine Jenkins, and There's Always Next Week. BSFV All Stars lost their lead by not doubling.

For the drinking round, we had the first King Trivia Pineapple Hill Spelling Bee! Flibbertiggibbet knocked out about half of the teams. Some other words were pasteurization, calisthenics, liaison, pterodactyl, viscera, and ecclesiasticism. The teams did well for spelling the 2017 adult spelling bee words! Running with Caesars ended up winning the drinking round!

Round 6 was a difficult round for most teams, some of which got less than 5 points. But Tequila Mockingbirds were pretty strong and held onto their 6 point lead.

It was still a close game going into the final round. Last week's champs Ovaltine Jenkins missed placing by just 1 point. Third place went to the consistent Kid's Table. Second place went to There's Always Next Week. And first place went to, be a mere 4 points, Tequila Mockingbirds.

It was a really close game and all teams did well!

QUIZ RECAP

What a night at the Pineapple Hill! Not only did the Dodgers win game 6, but the place was popping for Halloween!

There were some new teams (my personal favorite team name being Our Halloweeners are Bigger than Yours) and some regulars, but every team got in the holiday spirit by dressing up.

Oxymorons, Wonder Tits, and Fake Baby Wolf de Los Angeles all doubled successfuly on the first round tying them all for first place.

Oxymorons and Wonder Tits doubled the third round, putting them solidly in the leads in second and first place, respectively.

Round 5 Oxymorons and Wonder Tits doubled again, jumping them far ahead of the other teams. Fake Baby Wolf de Los Angeles and There's Always Next Week tied for third place.

In Round 6, There's Always Next Week should have doubled, as they were the only team to get all answers right (they're teachers, so it makes sense they knew their history).

Going into the final round Wonder Tits was ahead by just one point. They managed to keep their lead for the win, with Oxymorons right behind. There's Always Next Week managed to secure a third place win!

QUIZ RECAP

The Dodgers are in the world series! Pineapple Hill was packed with Dodgers Fans, some of which decided to stay after the game and play some exciting trivia!

Inning 1 saw both Tequila Mockingbirds and El Nombre Es score some runs, tying them for first place.

In Inning two, El Nombre Es scored 2 runs ahead of Tequila Mockingbirds, securing their first place lead. Plinxo Chips wasn't too far behind in third place.

The Dodgers struck out completely with an unsuccessful double in Inning 3.

In Inning 5, Tequila Mockingbirds caught up with El Nombre Es, while People at the Bar slowly but surely started making their presence known by scoring one more run than Plinxo Chips.

Tequila Mockingbirds and El Nombre Es both scored HOME RUNS in Inning 6, bringing them way ahead of the rest of the teams. El Nombre Es was still in first place by 3 points, so going into the final inning it was up to Tequila to see if they could make up the points.

In Inning 7, Tequila Mockingbirds tried to hit another homerun, but weren't successful, landing them squarely in 2nd place. Third place went to People at the Bar, and El Nombre Es took the first win of the King Trivia World Series!
