QUIZ RECAP

We had a other fun night of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills last night! 8 teams came out to try their hand at winning 3 gift certificates and a round of shots. 

For the Drinking Round, teams had to pick one member to come up and write their team name down on a sheet of paper. That was all a ruse for Quizmaster Danny to see which hand was their dominant hand. That's because for the Drinking Round he made each representative from the teams throw three darts with their non-dominant hand to see who could get the closest to the bullseye. And with just a beautiful shot just touching the outside ring of the bullseye, Fact to the Future won the round of shots! Sweet throw!

For second and third place, we had a tie breaker question asking how many movies were on Netflix as of May 2022. The tiebreaker was between Hanky Panky and The Headscratchers. Hanky Panky guessed 9500, and The Headscratchers guessed 865. The correct answer was 3012. So The Headscratchers took the second place prize $20 gift certificate, and Hanky Panky took home the 3rd place prize $10 gift certificate. Both teams scored 55 points. 

And coming in first basically holding on to the lead since the first successful Double or Nothing in the first round and whose score of 86 points could not be topped, was Team Default! Congrats you guys! Enjoy the $30 gift certificate!

QUIZ RECAP

They came, they played, they won prizes! That's right, it was another Wednesday night of King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub! 9 teams came out to try and win our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes. Plus the possible round of shots for the Drinking Round!

For the Drinking Round, teams sent one player up to compete. The object of the game was to flick pencils from the back of one's hand and catch them all with the same hand without dropping any. The team that was able to successfully catch the most pencils at one time, would win the round of shots. Coming out on top of this competition, was team Fact to the Future! They successfully caught 12 pencils! Way to go!

Coming in 3rd place tonight were The Chicken Fan Club! They scored 47 points and took home the $10 gift certificate! Awesome job!

In 2nd place, scoring 51 points, was team Bottom of the 5th! They brought home the $20 gift certificate prize! Whoop whoop!

And last but certainly not least was team The Anti-Socials! They won 1st place scoring 57 points and secured the $30 gift certificate! Amazing!

Another intimate King Trivia show at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Wednesday night! 7 teams battled it out for our 1st and 2nd place prizes. 

For the Drinking Round, each team had a few minutes to make a paper airplane. Then whoever's plane flew the longest would win the Drinking Round. With the furthest flying plane, Fact to the Future won the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team. 

They also came in Second place scoring 36 points just beating the Roadies by one point. They won the $10 gift certificate. Way to go!

And coming in first were The Headscratchers! They were on top from the first round successful Double or Nothing, straight through the rest of the game! They scored 46 points and took home the $20 gift certificate. Awesome job!
