QUIZ RECAP

Wednesday Wednesday!!! Another Wednesday night's King Trivia at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills has come and gone! If you missed it, or if you were there and want to relive the greatness of the night, you're in luck because here's your recap of the game! We talked about Middle-Earth repealing prohibition, fictional characters, forgotten sequels, Clark Kent, Transformers, product placement, and pope names! Surely though, the highlight of the night was during Round 2 when Quizmaster Danny sang the chorus of "I, Don Quixote" for the answer to question 2 which was of course, Don Quixote!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to send a player from each team to compete in a game of luck. The players stood in a semi-circle and had to guess the result of a coin flip. For heads, players would have to put their hands on their heads, and for tails they put their hands on their ass! Everyone guessed at the same time until there was one final team remaining. Winning the round of shots for their team and making their triumphant return to King Trivia after a long absence from it, was Einstein's Dick! Way to go and welcome back!

Coming in third place and scoring 48 points, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! They scored themselves a $10 gift certificate! Woot woot!

Coming in second place, and winners of the $20 gift certificate, thanks to a successful double or nothing in the final round, was team [Redacted]! They scored 63 points to get it! Awesome job!

And last but certainly not least, our 1st place team and winners of the $30 gift certificate, was Diversity Poster! They beat out team [Redacted] by one point thanks to their successful double or nothing in round 2, and a correct guess on the ten point clue in Round 4! They scored 64 points! Raise the roof!

QUIZ RECAP

Everyone packed up Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday night for 7 rounds of exciting, blow your mind, King Trivia! It was awesome!

For the Drinking Round, teams had to send one player up from with a full pint of beer to compete. Each player had to try and chug the beer as quickly as possible, but the catch was, that it had to be through a straw. The winners of the Drinking Round were Roku Goku! They won a round of shots for their team! Woot woot!

Coming in third place for the night and taking home the $10 gift certificate, was team Gobble on This! They used to come every week, but made a pretty triumphant return on Wednesday night! Good job!

Coming in second place and taking home the $20 gift certificate was Hanky Panky! They scored 74 points! Way to go!

Finally, coming in 1st place were the Mighty Mighty Puffins again, who rarely can be defeated! They scored 76 points and earned themselves another $30 gift certificate! Amazing job!

Time for another recap of Wednesday's King Trivia night at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills! You know you love it!

8 excited teams came out to test their knowledge and try and win prizes of a $30, $20, or $10 gift cards, or a round of shots via a win in the Drinking Round!

This week, for the Drinking Round, teams had to try and fold their hearts out as we held an origami folding competition. The winning team, Happy Birthday Courtney, made an "Aircraft Carrier" which was a paper boat holding a paper airplane. But Courtney also gave us a demonstration in folding it along with a story about a storm where she made a hat, a boat, and a "life jacket" origami, all out of the same sheet of paper! Way to go Courtney! And Happy Birthday to you!

Coming in 3rd place and scoring 64 points was Tobi and Pumps who successfully doubled down successfully on the final two rounds to get them into 3rd place and win them a gift certificate of $10! Good job guys!

Coming in 2nd place were the always strong Mighty Mighty Puffins, who scored 70 points and were in the lead by 6 points heading into the final round, but were victims of another team's successful double or nothing on the final round, so MMP took second place and a $20 gift card! Awesome job!

Finally, also successfully doubling down on the final two rounds and taking first place from MMP, were Alternative Facts! They scored 77 points and took home the $30 gift certificate! Whooohoooo!
