QUIZ RECAP

Another fun night Wednesday night! Where were you? Walking your armadillo again? You've used that excuse before! Well if you weren't walking your armadillo, but you still couldn't make it to Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia on Wednesday night, let me tell you all about it...

For the Drinking Round teams sent up one player each to play head to head against an opponent from another team. Teams had to first attach a string with a pen on the end of it, to their pants with the pen hanging down near the knees. On go they had to walk backwards towards an empty opened wine bottle. Their objective was to be the fastest team to stick the pen inside the opening of the wine bottle. Simple right?! With a blazingly fast 10.55 seconds, Boobs won the Drinking Round! Who knew Boobs would be so fast at getting it in there! Heyoooo...

Coming in third place was team Curried Fries! They got off to a hot start successfully doubling down on the first round, and getting a the correct answers in rounds 2 and 3 as well! They scored a total of 55 points and took home a $10 gift certificate! Good job Curried Fries!

In second place we had team Fig Liebniz! Who apparently was a rival of sir Isaac Newton! Get it? Anyway, For Liebniz Also doubled in the first round, but ended up with 57 points at the end of the night, slightly edging out the Fries. They took home a $20 gift certificate! Great job!

And of course, in first place, continuing their run of greatness, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! They scored 58 points and took home the $30 good certificate! Awesome!

What's that? Where can you go on a Wednesday night for drinks, trivia questions, free Oreos, characters dressed in red? Well that would be Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia!

That's right, it was a blast of an evening! But what made it so great? Well, that would have to be the free Oreos of course! I mean they weren't free for Quizmaster Danny, but for all of the players who competed in the Drinking Round they were! The catch? They had to put the Oreo on their foreheads, and move it from their mouth to their heads using only their face! But sadly, many many Oreos suffered the casualty of falling in to the floor. We lost many great Oreos that night. But, for team Hair Food, they won themselves a free round of shots! Hope you enjoyed that delicious cookie!

Coming in 3rd for the night was team Bristol Fashion! They scored 74 points on a high scoring night! They got a $10 gift certificate to take home though! Way to go!

And for Second and First Place, we had to have a tiebreaker to decide! It came down to Mighty Mighty Puffins and Hanky Panky. They had to be the closest to the correct number of how many chapters were in the Book of Mormon. The two answers were close to each other, as one team said 27, the other said 30. But in fact, it has over 300 chapters in the Book of Mormon! Hanky Panky guessed closest to the right answer and won 1st place and a $30 gift certificate, and the Mighty Mighty Puffins, took 2nd and the $20 gift certificate! Way to go to both teams!

QUIZ RECAP

Another fun Wednesday night was had at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia! There was a tie breaker, a talent show, and voice impressions! See what you miss out on in two hours at a bar on Wednesday nights?

For the Drinking Round we had a talent show, and teams that wanted to compete for a round of shots sent up their players to show off a talent of theirs. With two teams sending up players doing Family Guy impressions, it turned into an impression-off between Spicy and Span, and Great Scotts. But Spicy and Span had more characters and had more dialogue, so they won the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team! Giggity giggity!

But that wasn't the last time we would hear from the Great Scotts, because their team had to compete in a tiebreaker for the 3rd place prize against Hanky Panky! Both teams had scored 47 points! But this time, Great Scott came through with the win, and they won a $10 gift certificate for their team!

Coming in second place were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! They scored 55 points to get the $20 gift certificate this week!

And last but not least, our 1st place team, Bristol Fashion who don't play often, but when they do, they usually place in the top 3. This week they won the $30 gift certificate with a score of 60 points! Woot woot!
