QUIZ RECAP

Twas the week before Christmas and all through the pub, festive trivia players were eager, and some were eating some grub. Ready to answer Christmas themed questions, and some dressed in their best holiday attire, see man dressed as Christmas Tree! There were Christmas themed questions, Holiday sweater themed drinking round, and a prom photo for the winners!

For the drinking round, teams had to design their best Ugly Christmas Sweaters! Whichever team had the best one would win the Drinking Round and a round of shots for their team. There were a lot of good submissions and several of them have been posted in the photos for your viewing. But the winners of the Drinking Round were Los Cool Arrows, who won with their "Chestnuts roasting" sweater, which had some nuts below a hole in the paper that would allow you to stick your finger through. It looked like a... well, you're smart, you get the picture, but if not, there's a picture of it above! Go check them out! Way to go Los Cool Arrows!

After a tie breaker question at the end of the night, Hanky Panky ended up in 3rd place and took home a $10 gift certificate, but at least they also have that cool Christmas Tree hoodie! Go check it out in the pictures!

Then, coming in second after a triumphant guess on the tie breaker question, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! Both teams scored a whopping 72 points, but only MMP went home with the $20 gift certificate! Awesome job!

Finally, coming in first place, and posing in their winners photo as a prom picture, were Alternative Facts! They scored 80 points and went home with a $30 gift certificate! Yeaaahhhhhhh!

Hard not to have fun on Wednesday nights if you know where to look. I'll give you a good hint; all the fun is at Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills for King Trivia on Wednesday nights! You need to come out and check it out!

• For the Drinking Round, teams had to identify the name of a song and band by lyrics read aloud to them by Quizmaster. The catch? All the lyrics we're read by Quizmaster Danny in voices that we're suggested by the audience. So teams had to identify lyrics read to them by Trump, Obama, Bob Dylan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and even Sean Connery. It was a game we call Round of Bad Danimal Voices! Alternative Facts correctly identified the most bands and songs to win the Drinking Round and the round of shots for their team! Amazing job guys!

QUIZ RECAP

Well if you've been waiting for this Wednesday nights King Trivia recap from Pickwick's Pub in Woodland Hills, here it is! Teams gathered to answer questions about Super Smash Brothers, baseball Hall of famers, and different Barbie professions!

For the Drinking Round, each team had to send up their movie buff to try and name one of the Top 30 movie villains of all time. If you guessed one right, you stayed in the game, but guess wrong and you're out. The last person standing would win the Drinking Round and a round of shots. It came down to the representatives from Hair is Not an Option, and Alternative Facts. But pulling out the victory, was Alternative Facts! Hope you enjoyed the shot!

Taking 3rd Place with 68 points was team Hanky Panky!

Coming in 2nd with 71 points were Alternative Facts!

Finally, coming in 1st place and scoring a whopping 84 points, were the Mighty Mighty Puffins! That should help get you guys in to the tournament! Good luck!
